Centennial Resource Development, Inc. (“CRD”) (NASDAQ: CDEV) is currently seeking a Sr. Production Tech in our Midland, Texas office. Reporting to the Production Reporting Manager, the Sr. Production Tech will support the Operations Department with the retrieval, processing, managing, reviewing, and analysis of production data. The Sr. Production tech will also manage the field data capture system and daily imports of production data into the production database as well as compile all production data to complete all internal, state, and Federal production reporting requirements in an accurate and timely manner. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and organizational skills and a firm understanding of oil and gas production.

General responsibilities include:
• Monitor and validate receipt point oil, gas, and water measurement volumes uploaded into ProCount Production Software
• Troubleshoot measurement issues, miscalculations, errors with file/data retrieval or uploads by contacting field personnel, midstream employees, or ProCount software support team
• Track and analyze daily production trends and variances, and troubleshoot downtime
• Complete internal reports including but not limited to the Daily Production Report, Daily Manager’s Report, Weekly Operations Report, and Accounting/Revenue Allocation Reports
• Complete all State and Federal production reports in an accurate and timely manner
• Maintain both hard copy and electronic well files
• Other projects as assigned by the managing Operations/Production Engineer or the Production Reporting Manager
• Estimated distribution of work:

  • 50% Daily production maintenance and reconciliation
  • 30% Production allocations
  • 15% Data analysis
  • 5% Merrick/P2 configuration

Knowledge and Skills include:
• Working knowledge of oil and gas operations
• Knowledge of local, state and federal production reporting laws/regulations
• Ability to think creatively to solve problems

• Flexibility to work overtime when required

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in oil and gas
• Experience with ProCount Production Software, Generwell, Aries, and MS Office software applications preferred
• Experience with and knowledge of local, state and federal production reporting laws/regulations preferred
• Microsoft Office proficiency required (Excel and Word)
