Operations

The Permian Basin is an attractive operating area due to its extensive original oil-in-place, favorable operating environment, stacked pay potential, high oil content, extensive infrastructure base, significant service provider network, and historically high drilling success rates. According to the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA), the Permian Basin is the most prolific oil producing area in the United States.

Centennial Resource Development has approximately 88,000 net acres in the Delaware Basin located in Reeves County, Texas and Lea County, New Mexico. We believe the integration of geology and engineering disciplines will support our goal of producing significant amounts of oil reserves from our large and contiguous land base.
